Hanoi Book Swap Event #2 – 27/02/2016

Hanoi Book Swap is a monthly books exchange event organized by Three Cups of Tea Library. Bring a book that you have read and share with us your thoughts about it, and you can get a new book in exchange!

This month, let’s join us in the first gathering of 2016 to:

– Receive a lovely bookmark with best wishes from other participants;

– Discuss the award-winning novel, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, who just passed away last week. In 2006, British librarians ranked the book as one “every adult should read before they die”.

– Picking up a special handbook about opposite-sex relationship from Focus On The Family organization in Singapore with only 20.000 dong.

Time: 2 – 4 PM, Saturday, 27th Feb 2016
Venue: Three Cups of Tea Library’s room – 2nd floor, Tea Talk Café, opposite No. 91 Trung Kinh, Hanoi.
Agenda:
– 2:00 – 2:30 PM: Meet and Greet
– 2:30 – 3:00 PM: Discuss The Alchemist
– 3:00 – 4:00 PM: Share about and exchange books

P/s: If you cannot find a suitable book to exchange, you can donate your books to our library and get a 10% discount off the one-year library member registration. Your books will continue their life as library books for other members to read, and may support other book projects for disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

Hanoi Book Swap event is inspired by the idea of a group of Knowmads Hanoi’s members with the aim of organizing semi-regular meeting for anyone interested in swapping books and chatting.
Three Cups of Tea Library is one of the flagship projects of Center for Counseling, Research and Empowering Community (CoRE). We aim to build a house of books donated by the community to provide support to students, teachers and professionals in people-helping arenas.
